We were blessed with the most fabulous weather, almost clear blue skies and wall-to-wall sun sunshine. Fantastic conditions and a truly beautiful estate.

We had a large entry which was quite fluid leading up to the event which ended up with 73 dogs in the draw. Ultimately some 64 dogs ran

Huge thank you to our judges Robert Worrall, Chris Marshall, Jane Manley and Keith Manley who had a monumental task and worked tirelessly all day. Thank you also to Colin Pelham who kindly gave up a morning to meet Karolina and myself to set the tests, carefully utilising the areas Peter Clayton showed us. The tests were fair and more challenging to some than others. Colin used his experience of this wonderful location to best advantage.

Our team of helpers were amazing, we had those new to the sport and some more seasoned competitors. These events really could not run without these guys and we are indebted to them. I am not given to single out one particular person but Karolina has been an absolute star. Thank you.

Thank you to all our Sponsors. Skinners who provided generous vouchers, certificates, numbers and support. Gamekeeper goods also provided generous vouchers and club discount for essential items. Last, but by no means least, thank you to ACME Whistles who donated the most amazing gold sleeved sterling silver whistle with a leather lanyard in a presentation box. Sally Pepper was lucky enough to win this fabulous prize.

It would be very remiss of me not to mention our club president Wendy Andrews who made the most amazing lunches for the judges and helpers. Competitors enjoyed amazing cakes, also made by Wendy. Everything wasbeautifully presented and tasted just as good. Thank you Wendy.

Well done to all the competitors, for some their first test Onto the results. Congratulations to those in the awards.
